Replacing Awning Windows with Aluminium French Doors in Parkdale

We love turning homes inside out!  These Parkdale homeowners have a lovely outdoor space that had to be accessed via a side door. Now they have beautiful aluminium double glazed French Doors to both look out and go out. 

The old awning windows didn’t really suit the contemporary styling of the alfresco area in either colour or functionality. The new doors took about 6 weeks to make and our trusty tradies just 7 hours to remove, re-frame, install, finish and sweep up. 

No structural work so no permit required to achieve this beautiful result on a budget of just under $13K.  The RetractAscreens will be installed in 6 weeks’ time and the rest Autumn will be perfect in this revamped entertainment area.
